The Panjshir Association of Canada is a registered nonprofit, community-based organization representing individuals and families from Panjshir Province, Afghanistan, who now call Canada home. Founded to preserve our cultural identity and strengthen our community, the Association serves as a bridge between generations of Panjshiris and the broader Canadian society.

We are committed to promoting cultural understanding, supporting newcomers, and creating opportunities for education, growth, and meaningful connection. Through our programs, cultural gatherings, and community initiatives, we aim to keep our Panjshiri heritage alive while empowering our members to thrive and contribute positively to Canadian life. Our Mission

The mission of the Panjshir Association of Canada is to unite and support the Panjshiri community across Canada by preserving our cultural identity, promoting education and empowerment, and fostering a spirit of friendship, inclusion, and mutual respect. We strive to create a welcoming environment where every member feels valued, connected, and proud of their heritage.

Our Goals

  • Preserve and promote Panjshiri culture and traditions through community events, cultural celebrations, and educational activities.
  • Support newcomers and families as they settle and integrate into Canadian society, offering guidance, resources, and community connections.
  • Encourage youth engagement through programs that build leadership, education, and career opportunities.
  • Strengthen community unity by creating opportunities for collaboration, dialogue, and shared celebration.
